Data controller
The data controller is the publisher of the CashFlowCanary service. For any question about personal data, use the Contact page so the request can be routed to the right person.
Data collected
- Contact data sent through the form, such as name, email, message and any field you fill in.
- Account data if you create a customer workspace, including identifiers and monitoring settings.
- Technical data strictly necessary for operation, such as security logs and session data.
Purposes and legal bases
- Replying to contact requests — legal basis: consent / pre-contractual steps.
- Providing and billing the service — legal basis: contract performance.
- Ensuring security and preventing abuse — legal basis: legitimate interest.
- Meeting legal obligations, including accounting and tax obligations — legal basis: legal obligation.
Retention
Data is kept for as long as needed for the relevant purpose, then archived or deleted. Contact data is kept to handle the request and reasonable commercial follow-up. Account data is kept during the contractual relationship, then for the periods required for proof, security and legal obligations.
Recipients and processors
Your data is not sold or rented. It may be processed by technical providers strictly necessary for the service, including hosting, email delivery and security tooling. The public website does not use an external CDN or third-party tracking script.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability. You can exercise them through the Contact page. You may also file a complaint with the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
Security
The website is served exclusively over HTTPS. Technical and organisational measures are used to protect your data against unauthorised access.
